- Flowrate must stay below a set maximum to protect equipment and product quality
- If heat treatment fails, the flash valve must divert product to rejection tanks
The Approach
- Condition-Based Alerts: implemented value-based searches to monitor key issues:
- Excessive flowrate during production, above manufacturer recommendations.
- Valve malfunction during heat treatment, failing to reject product when temperature is below the minimum requirement.
- Automatic Contextualization: monitors were set up to automatically contextualize all these events.
- Trends & Setpoints: visualized valve status and rejection periods alongside setpoint values, and likewise tracked production flowrate vs. setpoints.
- Dashboard Integration: combined monitors, trends, and monthly event counters into a single auditready view.
