Job description

We are on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to take the helm of our innovative cloud-based industrial analytics product, TrendMiner. In this crucial role, you will be at the heart of our vision to revolutionize industrial advanced analytics by empowering everyone in our customer organizations to increase the number of data-driven decisions, combining production and asset data with human intelligence. Reporting directly to the Director of Products, you will be a key player in a dynamic team known for pushing boundaries. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional product teams, ensuring that every enhancement to TrendMiner aligns with our customers’ evolving needs and the ever-changing market landscape.

Responsibilities

  1. Deeply understand the needs, problems, and desires of our customers. Regularly interact with customers to gather feedback and insights, representing the customer’s voice in product decisions.
  2. Stay updated with market trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements Data Analytics, Integration, Machine Learning, and AI, shaping our Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings to outpace the competition, our insights will directly influence product enhancements, securing TrendMiner’s cutting-edge position in the market.
  3. Define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals.
  4. Conduct product discovery activities to validate ideas before they go into development.
  5. Use data, customer feedback, and other inputs to inform product decisions. Collaborate closely with the product teams to ensure the product vision is translated into actionable initiatives.
  6. Prioritize opportunities based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
  7. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that balances innovation, and technical debt with a customer first mindset.
  8. Communicate this roadmap effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
  9. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of the product. Use data to make informed product decisions.
  10. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including senior management, sales, marketing, customer support, and the R&D team.
  11. Manage expectations and ensure everyone is aligned towards the same product goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of product management experience, preferably with cloud-based or SaaS products.
  • Demonstrated success in managing SaaS or cloud-based solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership abilities, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge and experience with product development in data analytics, data integration, machine learning, or AI.
  • Competence in data analysis tools and techniques to inform product strategy. Proficiency with product management methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative work environment.

Nice to Haves

  • Direct experience in the industrial analytics sector, understanding its specific challenges and potential.
  • Familiarity with TrendMiner or equivalent industrial analytics platforms.
  • A rich background in agile product management.
  • Established network within the industrial analytics field, including key business and technical stakeholders.
