Process and manufacturing industry has seen a rise in industry 4.0 digitalization efforts over the past decade. With this effort, comes challenges of handling mass amounts of data, and more importantly: making sense of that data. Self-service analytics tools provide engineers and operators new and efficient methods to solve simple and complex problems efficiently. Troubleshooting equipment and process optimization is a daily activity engineers and operators perform. Often times, these tasks can be on the order of hours to months, depending on the complexity. Data scientists may also be involved in solving process and manufacturing challenges, which creates a bottleneck. Two industrial cases presented reflect the easy-to-use functionality and the tangible success derived from self-service analytics capability.
Usman began his career in a startup organization focusing on FCC catalysts and in on-purpose production of olefins. Usman combines his extensive engineering background, a decade of R&D and plant experience with software technology to solve challenging industrial problems. Since joining TrendMiner in late 2019, Usman works towards building lasting relationships with customers by lowering the barrier for technology adoption and by delivering valuable outcomes to customers.
