We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Architect to lead our Augmented Analytics team. As the Team Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the technical vision, strategy, and architecture for our cutting-edge augmented analytics solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of machine learning techniques, a proven track record in architecting complex systems, and the ability to lead a talented team of data scientists and engineers.

Essential Functions

  • As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager, playing a pivotal role in our collective effort to foster growth and enhance our platform.
  • Architect scalable, reliable, and high-performance machine learning solutions for augmented analytics applications.
  • Design end-to-end machine learning pipelines that encompass data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, and deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the team, serving as a source of inspiration and actively contributing to the professional development of your colleagues.
  • Take a lead role in defining and refining the team’s technical workflow, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices in alignment with our overarching objectives.
  • Champion the integration of DevOps best practices into the team’s mindset, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and streamlined collaboration.
  • Assume the role of a technical coach for your peers, leveraging your expertise to elevate the overall technical capabilities of the team.
  • Play a crucial part in shaping the architecture of our platform by actively contributing to the definition process in collaboration with our Chief Architect, ensuring a cohesive and forward-thinking technical foundation for our endeavours.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and research to enhance the capabilities of our augmented analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize proven experience to design and build robust microservices and cloud-native platforms that align with our business objectives and scalability requirements.
  • Apply knowledge of software engineering best practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID principles, and other industry-standard methodologies.
  • Demonstrate expertise in machine learning, streaming, time-series, and big data analytics, leveraging this knowledge to contribute to the enhancement of our data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Display a strong eagerness to learn modern technologies and actively share your expertise with the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Exhibit a deep passion for software development, innovation, and creative thinking, driving excellence in both individual and team contributions.
  • Act as a team player, promoting a positive and collaborative attitude while working towards achieving shared goals and delivering results.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, taking initiative and ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
  • Showcase a broad interest in technologies, staying abreast of industry trends and exploring new tools and frameworks that may benefit the team and the organization.
  • Be very fluent in English, and knowing other languages is a plus, facilitating effective communication within a diverse and global team.
  • Experience with some other technologies in our product portfolio is advantageous, particularly in Kubernetes, Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Golang, Python, NET/C#, or similar technologies.

What You Bring Along

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in architecture, design, and implementation of analytics solutions.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python AND Java.
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning frameworks, libraries, and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Strong expertise in data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in selecting and implementing analytics and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with machine learning integration into analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their analytics services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Previous experience leading and mentoring teams.
