TrendMiner, a Software AG company, delivers self-service data analytics to optimize process performance in industries such as chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, metals & mining and other process manufacturing industries. TrendMiner software is based on a high-performance analytics engine for time-series data that allows users to question data directly, without the support of data scientists. Search, diagnostic and predictive capabilities enable users to speed up root cause analysis, define optimal processes and configure early warnings to monitor production. 

We currently have a job opening for an experienced, versatile marketer with a strong technical background to join our team in Hasselt, Belgium.

Your challenge

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you design, create, and deliver marketing programs to support expansion and growth of the company’s products and services. You increase brand awareness, promote our products and to drive prospects to conversions. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and ambitious individual with proven experience in inbound marketing execution and a passion for communication. The candidate should have a practical, hands-on mentality and the skills to fully execute the (digital) marketing and communication strategy that drives conversion. In your role as Digital Marketing Specialist you will:

  • Be responsible to bring greater brand awareness, increase lead generation, and increase customer engagement within our target markets and among our target audience(s), 
  • Manage and continuously improve our company website (as a webmaster) to increase conversion and support our visitors in their online buyer journey
  • Ensure consistency in communication style and tone, including variations used per buyer persona and channel to ensure aligned brand identity
  • Create, maintain, and implement marketing and editorial calendars in cooperation with the marketing team
    • Creating and managing online advertising profiles to attract new leads and reduce cost per lead ratio
    • Develop and execute our social media strategy to increase engagement among our target audience(s)
    • Update, manage and maintain company blog, e-newsletter, and social media to improve our position for specific target audiences and industries
  • Support for global integrated campaigns
  • Monitor, analyze and report performance according to our marketing KPIs
  • Track and assess behavior through dashboards, metrics, feedback and surveys 
  • Develop plans to increase conversion, lead generation (through all digital channels) and shorten sales cycles

Your qualities

  • Minimum 3 years experience in all-round, digital and inbound marketing
  • Fully proficient in Salesforce, HubSpot, WordPress (Enfold) and graphical design tools
  • Solid understanding of PPC, SEO, SEA & social media marketing 
  • Knowledge of media editing software (photo and video)
  • Experience with web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Audiences, Google Adds, social platforms and Webmaster Tools
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
